Family photography, created around you

Capture the people, relationships and moments that make your family yours, then turn them into artwork for your home.

Family means something different to everyone.

It might be children, parents, grandparents, extended family or the dog who is very much part of it all.

I’d love to help you capture those people and this chapter of your family’s story.

Family doesn't have to mean just parents and children

Your family can include whoever matters to you.

Family photography can include:

The important thing is that we’re capturing the people who matter most to you.

A relaxed experience, with plenty of guidance

From your first conversation, I’ll help you understand what happens next.

We’ll talk about what you’re looking for, plan your session and make sure you’re prepared, including wardrobe guidance.

If you’re visiting the studio, you’ll be welcomed with refreshments when you arrive.

After your session, we’ll have a cinematic viewing and design consultation where you’ll see your photographs, enjoy Prosecco and chocolates, and explore the artwork options available for your home.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before you get in touch.

Turn your photographs into something you'll see every day

Once you’ve chosen your favourite photographs, I’ll help you explore how they could become artwork for your home.

From wall art and framed artwork to albums and finished collections, we’ll look at the options and create something that’s personal to you.

Artwork is handmade in the UK, with typical production and delivery taking around 4 to 6 weeks.

What happens next?
From your first conversation to finished artwork

01. Discovery Call & Booking

We'll start with a conversation about your family and what you'd love to create together. Once you're ready, you'll secure your session date and pay your session fee.

02. Consultation & Planning Session

We'll plan your session, talk through how your artwork could look at home, coordinate outfits, and walk you through our prep guides. Your Viewing & Design Consultation can also be scheduled at this stage.

03. Photography Session

This is where we capture your family exactly as you are. Sessions typically run 60 to 90 minutes, but that's just an average, there's no rush and no back to back bookings. If a little one needs a break, snacks or needs a nap, that's completely fine, we simply pause and carry on.

If you're visiting the studio, you'll be welcomed with refreshments when you arrive.

04. Viewing & Design Consultation

You'll return to the studio together for your cinematic viewing and design consultation, choose your favourite images, and design your finished artwork over Prosecco and chocolates. We'll place your order and talk through payment plans if needed.

05. Artwork Reveal & Collection

Once your artwork arrives, your family will return to the studio to see it, celebrate and take your pieces home.

Invest in what you truly love

Invest in what you actually want

You shouldn’t have to pay for a package full of extras you’ll never use. Your family isn’t like anyone else’s, so the way you hold onto these memories shouldn’t be either.

That’s why it’s kept simple. You pay a session fee when you book, then after the shoot you choose your favourite images and decide how you want to see them: a piece of wall art for the living room, an album you’ll actually sit down and look through, or a set of frames of the people who matter most. Whatever fits your home and your family.

No filler, no add-ons you didn’t ask for. Just photographs and finished pieces you’ll be glad to have on your walls.

Family photography questions

What should we wear for our family photography session?

Wardrobe guidance is provided as part of the consultation process, where I'll help you choose clothing that photographs well and suits the style of session you're looking for. Additional guidance and direction are also provided during your session to help everyone look their best.

Can grandparents be included?

Yes absolutely. Family sessions can include parents, grandparents and extended family.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Dogs are welcome to be included as part of your family photographs during outdoor and on-location sessions. Unfortunately, dogs cannot be accommodated within the studio.

Can you photograph just my children?

Yes, we can do a photo session with just your children if you prefer.

Can family sessions take place outdoors?

Yes. Family sessions can take place outdoors in Cheshire.

Travel throughout Cheshire is included. Further locations can be discussed individually.

Can we have photographs in the studio and outdoors?

Yes. A combination of indoor and outdoor sessions at the studio is an option.

Do I have to know how to pose?

No, it is often your first time in front of a camera so I'll guide you throughout the session and provide as much direction as needed. You'll receive guidance during your consultation and throughout the photography session, so you don't need any previous experience in front of the camera.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If the weather is unsuitable, outdoor sessions can be rescheduled. If you are happy to embrace the conditions, weather-dependent sessions may still go ahead, and rainy sessions can often create beautiful, unique images.
